The magnetic absolute length measuring system FMAX has a resolution/repeating accuracy of 0.01 mm and consists of a guide rail with integrated magnetic tape and a guide carriage with implemented sensors and translator. Measurements up to a length of 650 mm are possible. To output the signals the standard interfaces RS422 and RS485 are available. Further interfaces can be realized on request.

This system is also completely abrasion resistant and offers all advantages of an absolute measuring system.

The FEMAX and the FMAX are optically identical, but the technology of FEMAX is based on EMAX and therefore capable to process distances up to 10 m.
